Rear-end collision between a passenger train and a freight train
On Sunday 5 June 2016 around 11.04 p.m, between the unmanned stopping points of Amay and Hermalle-sous-Huy on line 125, SNCB/NMBS passenger train 3820 crashes into the rear of B-Logistics train 48535.
Following this collision, the passenger train's first two wagons derail and lay on their side.
The accident causes the death of 3 persons. 9 persons are seriously injured. There is important damage to infrastructure and rolling stock.
